WHY USE A FACE SERUM
Serums, boosters and concentrates are more than just the icing on the cake in your daily skincare routine. They smooth the look of fine lines and wrinkles, improve skin tone and texture and intensify the effect of other products. Adding the right face serum can drastically improve the appearance of your skin, with long-lasting results.
Cleanser, toner and moisturizer – that is the basis for an effective skincare routine. However, this is often not enough to achieve your skincare goals. Highly- concentrated face serums are a great way to optimize your daily routine and target specific skin needs. For example, a facial serum can be the gateway to anti-aging skincare and reveal more youthful-looking skin. Is your skin currently out of balance or stressed? The right face serum with a high concentration of beneficial ingredients can be your solution. You can also quickly add moisture to your existing facial care routine with a hydrating serum.
BENEFITS:
✓ Very effective due to very high concentration of ingredients
✓ Lightweight formulas
✓ The perfect addition to any existing skincare routine
✓ Quick and effective results
How to Use Serums
Serums, concentrates, boosters – what’s the difference? The wide range of ingredients and areas of application leads to many open questions. First of all: Which face serum is the right one for me and how do I use it?
1. Serums and Concentrates: The serum or concentrate is a permanent part of your daily skincare routine. They are tailored to your skin type to maintain a long-lasting positive effect. All DALTON serums and concentrates contain our unique anti-aging Celumer Marine Extract.
2. Boosters aka High Concentrates: With our boosters, the so-called HIGH CONCENTRATES, you can quickly respond to your skin’s individual needs every day. They include a fragrance-free Retinol Serum, Vitamin C Serum and Hyaluronic Acid Booster. Depending on the ingredients and the condition of your skin, you can use them daily or weekly. Combine them with the right facial serum to create an unbeatable combo!
Serums should always be used after your toner and before your face cream or gel. Our HIGH CONCENTRATES can be used like a serum, before your moisturizer. Alternatively, you can mix a few drops of the product with your moisturizer. If you want to use several serums, concentrates or High Concentrates, no problem! There is one rule that always applies: Always layer by texture. Start with the most lightweight formula and finish your routine with the richest or heaviest product.
Frequently Asked Questions
Again and again we receive questions about how to use a face serum. Basically, however, it’s really not that difficult. To bring more light into the darkness, here are the answers to your most frequently asked questions.
What is a serum good for?
It is often the case that the skin has several needs that cannot be met by using just one particular moisturizer. If you want to smooth out the first signs of wrinkles, go for an Anti-Wrinkle Serum. Adding more moisture to your skincare routine is as easy as adding a Hydrating Serum. Or maybe you would like to achieve a skin-brightening or radiance-boosting effect? No matter which one you choose, a serum always gives your skin an extra boost thanks to higher concentrations of beneficial ingredients.
