DALTON Microneedling Pen 200
Micro-injuries for beautiful skin? The microneedling method uses fine needles to create tiny punctures in the skin and stimulate skin regeneration. This makes it an effective treatment for wrinkles, acne scars, hyperpigmentation and stretch marks, among other things.
Cosmetic microneedling uses fine needles to pierce the uppermost layer of the skin and create invisible micro-injuries (or "micro-channels") in the epidermis. The aim is to stimulate the skin’s natural healing process and activate the production of collagen and elastin-producing fibroblast cells in the skin. Conversely, the procedure makes use of the body’s natural ability to repair itself to achieve an optimal result – firmer skin, less visible pores and an even complexion.
Who is microneedling good for?
Microneedling is not just an anti-aging treatment and is suitable for all skin types (except acne). The beauty treatment can be done on the face or body (e.g. décolleté, thighs).
It can be beneficial for the following skin problems in particular:
- Acne scars
- Pimple marks
- Wrinkles and fine lines
- Stretch marks
- Large pores
- Hyperpigmentation
- Hair loss and reduced beard growth

The innovative, cordless needling pen – MP200
The DALTON Microneedling Pen (MP200) is based on the same concept. It comes with two different tips with 9 or 12 fine needles respectively, and the penetration depth of 0.1 to 2.00 mm is continuously adjustable to allow treatments to be tailored to each individual client. This means that the penetration depth can not only be varied depending on whether you treat the body or face. Thanks to the continuously variable adjustment options, individual areas of skin on the face can also be treated with different puncture depths. This is particularly useful for treating wrinkles in sensitive areas such as the eye area. The micro-injuries also stimulate collagen and elastin production – with visible results.
Impressive results
- The skin becomes firmer
- Wrinkles are reduced
- Anti-aging effect
- Improvement of scars (e.g. acne scars)
- Reduction of stretch marks
- Improvement of pigmentation disorders
Even after the first treatment, the skin appears plumper and firmer. Visible, long-lasting results appear after approx. four to six microneedling treatments.*
*Profound changes to the skin (such as improvement of acne scars) can take up to 10 microneedling sessions.

The 5 phases of microneedling
1. The needles penetrate the epidermis safely, evenly and in a controlled manner
2. Micro-injuries stimulate growth factors (similar to the wound healing process)
3. Collagen production is increased
4. Active ingredients can penetrate the skin more easily
5. The skin regenerates from the inside out
Q&A
Microneedling vs. derma roller – what’s the difference?
Both methods are based on a similar principle – inflicting micro-injuries on the skin using small needles to accelerate skin regeneration. In microneedling, this is done with the help of an electronic device (microneedling pen). The fine needles penetrate the skin in a controlled manner and vertically. The penetration depth can be regulated and the high speed movement of the needles makes the treatment quite painless, yet precise and easy to customize. The derma roller is a popular beauty tool for at-home use. It is a handheld device covered with tiny needles, which are rolled over the skin to deliberately cause micro-injuries. At first glance, using a derma roller seems easier. However, the needles enter the skin at an angle, which means that the tissue is often torn rather than punctured. It lacks the control and precision of a pen and working at different skin depths is hardly possible.
Which products should not be used after microneedling?
We recommend avoiding products with irritant potential for some time after the treatment. These include: Chemical peels (AHA, BHA, PHA), products with a high concentration of vitamin C, retinol and products that contain fragrances or alcohol. In general, you should also avoid experimenting with highly dosed active ingredients that your skin is not yet familiar with. You can usually return to your normal skincare routine after around three to seven days.
How can I support my skin after microneedling?
Be mindful of what your skin needs at the moment. Moisturizing sheet masks, hydrating ampoules, serums or face creams can support your skin and give it an additional boost.
