Apply a thin layer to clean skin 2-3 times a week and leave it to absorb completely. You may rinse the PHA peel after 15 minutes and finish with a moisturizer that suits your skin type. Use a sunscreen with at least SPF 30 during the day, to make sure your skin is protected from UV radiation and sun damage. Do not use during pregnancy and while breastfeeding.
Polyhydroxy acids are especially gentle and non-irritating, which is why you can use the PHA Peel as a leave-on product. Apply a thin layer in the evening and leave it to work, then finish with your usual skincare routine.
While this PHA product is a more gentle exfoliant, it is no less effective than products containing alpha hydroxy acids or beta-hydroxy acids. It contains two powerful acids to promote healthy skin: 4% Lactobionic acid serves as a humectant and helps the skin to retain moisture, protects it from free radicals and stimulates collagen and elastin production, 8% gluconolactone strengthens the skin barrier and hydrates the skin. The PHA gel also exfoliates dead skin cells and leaves a smooth and even skin texture. The combination of marine ingredients and highly- dosed polyhydroxy acids (PHA) make it a perfect choice for sensitive skin types and skin prone to redness, couperose and dilated capillaries. Marine minerals improve the absorption of active ingredients, brown algae help to supply the skin with oxygen and provide a beautiful glow, and sea mayweed soothes the skin. Linoleic acid and linolenic acid strengthen the skin barrier, promote cell regeneration, offer anti-inflammatory properties and stimulate the production of ceramide in the skin.
